As many of you know, I haven't been as active on the forums due to other obligations at Redbana US.
Therefore, I am looking to fill an in-house Community Manager (CM) position to not only work with the Moderators and Game Masters, but also deliver better and more up-to-date info to everyone here.
As Redbana US expands, so will our teams. Therefore, if you or someone you know has the necessary qualifications, please send the resume to jobs@redbana.com .

RedBana US is home to a group of eminent game developers hailing from renowned studios such as Blizzard Entertainment, NCSoft, Rockstar Games, Electronic Arts, Turbine, Inc., Monolith, Nihilistic, and Sony Online Entertainment. Combined, the talented assemblage of programmers, designers, and artists has accumulated decades of experience developing high-quality titles. RedBana US will also handle the publication of many T3-developed titles in the United States.
As a Community Manager, you will not only provide community and customer support to all of gaming communities, but also partake in the creation and maintenance of our community events along with our game masters.
Job Responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain multiple gaming communities both in forums and in game.
- Co-operate with Game Masters to handle in-game events and contests.
- Supervise forum moderators and diffuse customer issues.
- Compile reports on the "pulse" of the community per game.
- Provide prompt customer service via emails other customer-facing applications.
- Promote the games by being active in the forums, blogs, and social networking sites and by running events and contests both in the forums and in game.
- Participate in testing with internal QA teams to stay on top of the latest game patches.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications:
- Above all else, applicant must be very passionate about customer service and gaming.
- Must have previous Customer Service or Game Master experience in an online game.
- Works well with others, is self-motivated, and has an overall upbeat personality.
- Good written and oral communication skills.
- Good organization skills and works well with others.
- Good understanding of Microsoft products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc).
- Strong work ethics and a quick learner.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Any online community experience like fan sites, blogs, forum moderation, etc.
- Well networked in social networking sites.
